I believe it's because it's designed for a right hand drive bias. Search for a pic of an Aristo interior, you'll see that it's a mirror image of the USDM version

yeah i know the aristo center piece doesn't fit (a gap on the right side i believe) I'd rather have the gap though when my car actually makes the transformation i have planned for it. I think i've had enough fun trying stuff out, etc. now its time to get serious after seeing GSWanted's car it inspired me thanks man!

correct, with the aristo one there will be a gap on one side, cz' the center piece is actually NOT symmetric

ha ha...thanks for the compliment bro. sounds like you're deciding to keep it. good luck with your future modding projects. PM me if you're interested in those things we talked about.

Has anyone got a response on the fitment issue from LuxMods? I'm about to order and would like to know if the kit is returnable if it doesnt fit 100% on.

Also, for those who have done the LuxMods stick-on kit, can you remove it if you don't like the way it looks?

im going to say that it won't be 100% correct. its a nice kit for what it is, but if you want a perfect fit, spend the 200 bucks on the real blackwood door peices and the extra 200 on the center piece. As for it being returnable, i think if you don't install it you can. it sticks on with 3M tape and you can pry it off if you wish, but im sure that's going to take awhile to do.

Seems the consensus is the kit isn't too great. Interesting, i think it's the nature of the piece, fiberglass can warp in the process, its a gamble!

and thanks for the comments on my dog, he's doing great now, fully recovered (though his fur is looking a bit off, like the kit haha)

Well think of it this way you really do get what you pay for some things are worth the extra dollars and in the long run you will not have any of these

very true, i dont regret buying the kit at all, i knew itd have some problems as anything mass produced does. i like playing around with stuff too, trying different things for fun, etc. Seems taht the people who have bought the kit as well don't seem too happy with the fitment.
