Japan has some of the nicest roads in the world. Here is a breif description of what it looked like to me the last time I was in Tokyo. The roads are clean as hell, and thats an understatement! Clean does not only mean no potholes or road cracks, but the streets are spotless no litter and very little dust or debris. I bet you could go a month on those roads without a carwash(as long as it doesn't rain) and the car would still look clean.

One of my friends said that you could drive a car with 1.5 inch ground clearance around the cities with no problems at all.

The country that builds high quality Lexus cars also has higher quality roads. Maybe the roads(hardcore potholes, dips, bumps....etc) here reflect the quality of US automobiles?

Great pics

No are roads are the reason they have to make Lexus ride so smooth.

Actually, here in Kansas most of the paved roads aren't to bad, maybe that's because it is so damn flat.

I'm moving to Japan (about 45 minutes south of Tokyo) in the spring. Too bad I won't be able to take my GS with me. But who knows what I'll find once I'm there.

this is my favorite of the bunch. I'm a sucker for 5 stars. That is the best I've seen a JP grill look too, and also, the blue oynx is looking killer. Is that whole car JP body kit?
