Default Chroming a grill?

Has anyone attempted yet to chrome the RMM grill? I have a black GS--I think it would look sweet next to the chrome taillights. I understand electroplating is the way to go on exterior parts... Any thoughts?

I don't think it's really billet. billet means formed out of a solid piece of aluminum. from how I remember Henry describing it, they cut the middle out of a stock grill and weld those slats into place, right Henry?

It does look great though

You're right about billet, that its tooled from a solid piece of metal. But how could they weld to the outside of a stock grill which is made of plastic?

they didn't. ONLY the center part slats are welded. to the outside trim, it's just by screws. and yes, it's definitley not from one piece, you can see the welds everywhere

and yes, get it from carson toyota
