Mine was painted. I think JacobT used a different method when his was black. It's been a while since I asked him and I don't remember the specifics.

Not with Balck Cherry, keep the chrome theme. Or if you have the gold emblems you might carry that on thru with future mods.

Black it all out mang, don't listen to these fools!

Just messing with you bud, you must have felt like a scolded step-child when you checked back on your thread and saw all these replies!

Isn't nice to know you got all this moral support here at CL?
Look forward to seeing some nice pics once the kit is installed!

I love that color and tho I quickly say no don't do it , I also came across this idea when ordering an extra set of wheels for my car while mine were being fixed. I did it for fun and figured to give it a try and I really liked how it looked (but its easy to say I liked it when I knew i was getting mine chromey's back soon) so I guess my point is I won't rule out that it may look really hot depending on the style of course.

Maybe color match but I still wouldn't do it with high end wheels.

Ya, what he said.

I agree as well. I have a simple design five spoke that's painted gunmetal/black (darker than GM, but lighter than black), but it works only because it's a simple design. With more complicated designs, you lose a lot of the designs that are put in the rim. Leave it be, or paint it GOLD
