It appears it should work. I went to the Lexus website where my cars are registered and found this link:

check it out. If the link doesn't work for you and you have to register, go to the FAQ's and do a search for DVD Upgrade.

Speaking from experience with my '02 GS, you need this DVD upgrade disc for about $100 w/shipping on eBay:

86271-33032
464210-0370
Data ver.03.1

Note: The above mentioned DVD disc is the latest, greatest in my opinion. However, I found a one or two posts on the net stating that 86271-33033 is newer. I never found one after looking all over and wonder if it's even true. Get this one and don't look back! Enjoy.

I truly don't know for sure, just relaying what Lexus had at their site. Hope that someone jumps in that has tried this upgrade in their 02.

 

stick w/ the version with the part number that has the 3 not the 4...this will not work for you..i bought one and it wouldn't work with my 3rd gen nav units...

these will work with the last one being the latest

 

part number is what tells you the true right or wrong. you need something that ends up 3x
