98 Nav upgrade arrived
Guys,
Ordered the 2003 upgrade ( last one available) for my 98 GS. I went in to pick it up today and they wouldn't release it without me giving them my stock HD. I wasn't in my car so I didn't have it.
What gives?? They recycle them or just not want you to have it?? Anyone know?

Sorry guys - didn't see any replies on this.
It was $284 which included tax ($260 without) . Well worth it as my NAV was pretty much useless in Tulsa. Now I have basically all the streets I need. I am very happy with it.
For those with the 98, you will be amazed when you pull out your HD. It is held in with 3 10mm bolts and then ust unplug the 3 plugs. You look inside and it is EMPTY
Well, actually, there are 2 very small philips screws under the cover, pull those out and you will see it. Takes all of 30 seconds to replace.
Let me know if anyone has any questions.
Also - blacksc400 - is the 99 on HD also?? I don't think it is but I may be wrong.
