I remember from my last test drive of a GS430 3rd Gen that there was a TRAC OFF button. It was 5-6 months ago so please correct me if i'm wrong. It is the same as in our 2nd Gens. I didn't have the guts to get the 430 sideways with the salesperson in the car with me but I have done that on my 2nd gen plenty of times. The VSC never kicks in when VSC is off. So whats this about all the magazines saying that the VDIM cannot be shut off? I mean....the button is right there!
I know a few of you guys here have gotten the back end out, got the car sideways, and spun it around a few times. If the TRAC OFF is engaged the VSC does not kick in. Maybe my car is different? How about you guys?
I know my VSC isnt broken because when it is active it stops me after about 20degrees of sliding sideways.
EDIT: Yes, I drive safely...most of the time
. Drifting and sliding occurs only very late at night where there are no people on the road.

If the button is there...is the function for the button LESS TRAC rather than Full Off? I remember it being labeled as TRAC OFF.
