Lighting Questions
My car is a 2001 GS430, bone stock with HID's. I absolutely love the low beams, but have a few issues with everything else.
1) The day time running lights look kinda washed out yellow. What can I do to improve this without annoying other drivers?
2) The high beams put out good light, but are also on the yellow side compared to the low beams. Improvements? Are the high beams HID? Since they are not the same color as the low beams, I have to ask.
3) Are there any issues with headlight circuit wiring or melting anything and do replacement bulbs have shorter life?
I am sure that these questions have been answered before. Please excuse my ignorance.

check the lighting section 
drls are highbeams at half. no way to get around the yellow look.
this is drls with Silverstar on driver's side, stock passenger
here's my cliff notes:
high beams switched to Sylvania Silverstars-bluer/whiter than stock halogens, but not ricey blue, closer to HIDs than stock.
Polarg M4 in running lights
PIAA ION Yellow in side markers to match stock fogs
this is a pic with the Silverstars on driver's side and stock highbeam on passenger side.
