Trouble with front lip install

Sounds as though you're installing a replica TTE lip. If so, those blocks need to be sawed off.

mine is a rep. and it had those big nubs on it too. but they added a lot of support to me. i just had to really finagle it with the heat gun to finally get it to fit. i know a lot of people on the forum just cut them off. but, to me it would just be so flimsy without them. then again, i am sure there are multiple companies out there doing TTE reps so they could all be different.
