guilty of the very same thing. I actually speed up when I see a nice shiny car (especially if it's black) just to see my rides reflection in motion.

another one on this... On very nice evenings with the sunsets etc... i find myself driving 5 miles out of the way to go to Jenks- a main street town it tulsa, and looking at the bank and store windows driving 5mph in a 25mph town "casually glancing " at my gs.... all the way down main street. And OF COURSE i must turn around and drive back towards the southside of tulsa, and repeat the process.

Moral of this thread<><><><> You cant separate man from his car!!!

sometimes when i come home and park i just stand and watch the car from different angles...worrying that my neighbors will see me and wonder what i'm doing. Sometimes I also admire the interior/dash/gauges while driving...the gauges look especially cool around dusk when its getting dark but the gauges haven't dimmed yet or when you go through a dark tunnel in the day and they brighten. How many of you take the long way home/drive around for sheer fun regardless of high gas prices?

Did anyone notice that Everytime we look at our cars admiring it, people tend to think that something is wrong with the vehicle, or we are suspicous so should they call the cops or something. I don't know why we have to play it off everytime we stare at our own cars. We look at it ashamed. We even have to make excuses just to go out and spend a little time to stare at our own cars. Ever since I started this thread, I walk backwards or even side ways away from my car from a parking lot know that it is normal.

Default kids

My 8 year old daughter drew a picture of our town in an imaginary tornado. Homes, churches, cows, dogs and all kinds of things flying around, she drew my wife clutching my daughters and she drew me holding my son's hand ....... looking back at my car.

She knew nothing of this thread.

I'll admit it...I love my car. I can see my car at work from our breakroom..I like to peek then too. It's the best lookin car in the lot...better than the 2005 SLK350 and 2002 M3...IMHO.
