Now THIS is the MOST ridiculous thing I ever heard a dealer say to a customer. I thought the $707 quote that I got for the l-tuned suspension installation was up there, BUT THIS TAKES THE CAKE.

I love the Mr.Clean look as well. See me below.

We should all get together for an evening, put temp '300' badges on, and really scare some people when they try to mess.

Us

Them

Us

Oh yeah, and try to take some digital pics of their faces as they inhale the exhaust fumes.

i just removed mine five minutes ago. i think it's been said before but go slow and try and get as much of the old adhesive to come off along with the emblem. you can get tricked into taking the emblem off like i did real fast, in less than a minute. the dental floss thing works almost too good, i barely had to heat it at all. the thing is the faster you go the more adhesive stays on the car which is a real pain in the **** to get off. i remembered all of this after it was too late.

i should also note that i took the low tech approach to getting the old glue off and used plain old lighter fluid, the naphtha stuff, not the charcoal lighter (it's all i had laying around and didnt feel like going to home depot to get the 3m stuff) hey it worked though.

the key is to take your time.
