i just removed mine five minutes ago. i think it's been said before but go slow and try and get as much of the old adhesive to come off along with the emblem. you can get tricked into taking the emblem off like i did real fast, in less than a minute. the dental floss thing works almost too good, i barely had to heat it at all. the thing is the faster you go the more adhesive stays on the car which is a real pain in the **** to get off. i remembered all of this after it was too late.
i should also note that i took the low tech approach to getting the old glue off and used plain old lighter fluid, the naphtha stuff, not the charcoal lighter (it's all i had laying around and didnt feel like going to home depot to get the 3m stuff) hey it worked though.
the key is to take your time.
