Default Thanks

Thanks for the picture JZS147.
That is one big FMIC, awesome. Do you stil have the standard front bumper on the car?

I am currently seeking a 2nd gen GS300 project car and would like to go 2jzgte route.
One problem, in my neck of the wood the GS's are few and far between.
Just got to keep looking.

Did I mention that your car looks awesome?

yeah, the outside still looks stock except for rims, and lowering and the exhaust.

That's cool!
You've got to surprise a lot of people that think your car is "slow".

What kind of rims do you have on the car?

Right now, I have 18inch Basel Rims with some cheap kumho tires. It's my friends rims off a supra. I have AVS VS-5 but with supra front brakes, it didn't clear it so I had to borrow these from my friend till I get a new set of rims.

JZS147, have you ever timed the car?
0-60
0-100
1/4 mile
etc.

kind of, my hks turbo timer can time the 1/4 mile, 0-60 and speedo. According to that(I don't know how accurate it is):
1/4 mile- no peeling out 12.8
0-60:5.2
Top speed that I hit so far: 173mph(I got scared so I had to let go the gas but the car was still going strong)

0-60 was 5.2 because there is turbo lag with TO4R, but when I hit 3500rpm, it will just go.

Default That's fast!!!!!!!!!!

That are some impressive times!
With those times you can kick some serious butt.

173 MPH???? Still had some left?? That's very fast. Did you try that top speed run on a public highway?

What kind of horsepower does the engine produce in this form?

yes, I was on the freeway around 3 in the morning and was racing a 93-97 twinturbo supra with some mods. I passed him around 100mph and that was it for him. after 100mph, I just kept going and to see how fast my car can go. but before I topped out the car, I got scared so I just let go the gas.

my mechanic thinks my car is pushing around 450 to 480 rwhp. I don't know for sure because I haven't dyno my car yet.

Did the Supra guy know you had the single turbo engine in your car? Did he know what hit him?

I think that much horsepower would be enough for a GS, isn't it?

How does the car behave at such a high speed? Is it still stable?

At first I don't think he knew what I had under the hood. when the supra finally caught up to me, he seemed confused

at that speed, the car felt very stable.

That's great. I would have liked to see that guys face.

Stable at high speed, well what also could we have expected from a lexus.

Has your car ever been featured anywhere?

Too bad, I would realy like to see more of your car.
From what you've told it realy sounds like a beast.

If you take some more pics of your car, could you please post them?
