my poor baby...... (not for the weak)
monday morning, I got into a really bad accident where a car from incoming traffic lost control and hit my car, it was a really hard hit, combine speed at around 130-140km/h, I'm really sore and bruised up from the accident, but no one was hurt. So thank God for that. And the car held up extremely well, what a tank.
other than that, I'm really bummed, the car is total'd while it was suppose to get lowered and new brakes the coming week. Now I have to work with insurance company, and I'm bloody pissed that I can't find a car in the same condition without spending significantly more. So we'll have to see, and sorry, we-todd-did-racing doesn't support this site.... just click the link.

sorry to hear about the accident, but fortunately you were severly injured. Hopefully you can get the insurance company to resolve your claim in a timley manner so that you can get a comprable replacement for the GS...

its like what everyone said, its like slow motion, you see the car right front of you, you know you'll hit it no matter what, and hit it hard.
while I say to myself "oh oh", both front air bags came out, and you felt like you got *****-slapped.
here's the basic principle, I will not buy any other car that does not have at least 4 air bags and 5-star rating from NHTSA. This car really make my injuries to a minimum, I can't say the same if it was my old GTI.

sorry to hear about ur misfortunes, but im glad to see ur alright and that the GS held up lookin at those pics, a couple more inches and the car would have hit ur door instead of the front fender and could have been potentially worse. keep ur head high and good luck finding another GS
on a side note, i dont know whats harder to look at, the rental they gave you or the GS like that

Chigga...even though it's being totalled by the insurance company, you HAVE the option to buy it back from them. Just tell them and they should work a good deal, probably cost you $100 to buy it back. They'll give you a salvaged title if you do it. Then either fix it with your insurance $$ left over from the settlement or part it out and make more $$. I'd keep it and fix it...doesn't look too bad.
