Default Navigation retrofit help? BananaGS or LexusAudio

I installed the Nav this weekend in my 2000GS3 (using the BananaGS wiring harness). I soldered in the connection to the speed sensor. Everything appears to be working. However, I still need to connect these wires.

- two wires coming off the back of the Navi screen (labeled "AC controls" and "Steering"). Where the heck do I splice this wire in?

- two wires coming off the wiring harness labeled "Amp in" and "Amp out". HELP.

Ron,

Unfortunately for you there are only three members that I'm aware of that can possibly help you out. The two you mentioned plus Letsride who isn't very active any longer... You can try PMing each of them.

and responses like this don't do a lot in motivating others who might have theories (or possibly would help search up prior posts) to help you either Like my Grandma used to say:

well i've never done this install but I have installed aftermarket systems before...

try the TIS website its only $10 bucks for the day and you will have full access to all the wiring diagrams to the 01 vehicle with the navi . That may help you.

Which system do you have in your gs (stock/aftermarket?? amps/speakers etc.)

and dave is right !!! be patient not everyone is on the forum on a daily basis.

I was trying to be funny/sarcastic in my post... Should have used some of these .

Anyways, regarding my install. I have pretty much figured it out. The nav works along with all the A/C controls (I just don't have the sound working yet). I also have one wire labeled a/c controls that is not hooked up (guess it doesnt matter as all the AC cotrols work).

Regarding the sound. I am/was just looking for an easy way to tap into the amp/speakers righ behind the head unit. Oh well, I guess I can go straight to the amp or go to a door speaker.
