Default GS wheel test fit pictures: did I go too far?

Mods: I posted this here to get a better response from GS-specific people.

As some of you know, my car is getting repainted and I'm doing some custom stuff.

Along with the new look will be new wheels - the (as yet) unseen Zone 5.
I hae elected to stay with 20" because I can get more "lip" than the new one-piece forged 21" wheels.

Here are a few shots I took last week of the car before it went to the body shop. Since I am now stretching the tires a little, the old wheels looked conservative. I played around using a few spacers, and this is where I ended-up.

The set-up you see here would basically be:
20x9.5 +30
20x10.5 +30
(after you factor in the spacers)

I like the look. My question to you: have I gone too far? I want to reconfigure the specs and order the new set of wheels by the end of this week.
As a wheel guy, sometimes my taste in fitment is on the aggressive side. I need a reality check!

Thanks,
Bob

Default Rear shot

I did the wheels one-at-a-time.

Here is the rear wheel with a spacer.
The front wheels are shown without the spacer in place.

The close-up shots may make the wheels appear more aggressive then they are.
The outer rim of the wheel is basically flush with (or perhaps 1-2mm past) the outer fender.

I'm looking for a "VIP look," but not a "lowrider look."

just my opinion. I think the rims are too wide for that tire or vice/versa (tires are stretched). Also, I think that might be too agressive of an offset (it looks like it will rub the rim lip )

My personal opinion - its a little too far out. I personally don't like the rim beyond-the-fendor look, reminds me of low rider trucks with too-small wheels sticking out. Fully aligned with the fender & edge,

As you say you're "in the biz" and your taste is more aggressive so if you like it, definitely go for it! I'm in general more middle of the road on fittment, not into the stretched tire look

Looks great Bob! Very vip! The way I see it, is if it's flush with the fender or slightly past it, it's perfect.

Hey Bob, did you leave the spacers on when you dropped your GS off at Joe's? I saw it yesterday, and it looked pretty good to me.

Thanks guys!
I figured the reponses would run the gamut...

BR1AN, no, there are no spacers on the car currently.
I just thought the wheels looked a little lost now, due to the stretched tires.

The new rubber is 255/35-20 + 285/30-20 but they are a lot narrower then the old Yokohamas were!

I wouldn't go so far as to say lowrider, but it's out pretty far.

Sorry Bob, my old, conservative azz agrees with Dave - I'd rather have it flush.
