It all depends what you look for in HID, for me It has to be pure white, no matter how strong the light is. Philips one provides very strong lightning, yet it is pretty yellowish. = P just my 02

i actually have that exact set...i love it!!!...by the way Phillips doesn't make the actual bulbs..they are a japanese company...but those exact ones that are on that ebay page are sitting inside my headlights..they provide such a strong white light it's crazy (220watts) if you put those bulbs in your GS and you look at them from far away they will look purple...a really nice purple color...

It was the best investment i could have ever made...I got mine for $495 shipped like 3 months ago so don't go over that price...

If you need any other help or comments about these exact lights just let me know ok?

Some cars will have a yellow tint to HID light regardless of bulb, etc. It is just the way the housing is made and the properties of the way the reflectors are made in some cars.

If anyone is interested, we also have these kits in stock and also available in PURPLE (ala BMW HID) now in 9006. Its practically plug and play (remove factory harness, insert new harness, mount ballast, hook up to battery)

My friend has this kit for his fog lights and they are white not yellow. They looks really nice and for the price you can't go wrong.

I have recently purchased the Philips HID Kit and love the overall looks.

Could anyone provide me some information on replacement housing for a 99 GS300 to correct the yellowish tint?

Don't mean to sound like a novice, but I am!
