I was wondering how you can tell if your motor is healthy. After owning the car for several years, there is no way for one to know if the performance of the car is still as good as new. I have several questions.
1) If you floored a gs430 from a stand still with the VSC off, should it always peel out?
2) When you first start your car in the morning, what is the RPM?
3) When shifting from R to D, can you feel a little budge when it engages in D
The reason I ask is because my 430 does not always peel out when i floor it and my RPM at a cold start is about 1500 - 1600. When I shift from R to D, it sometimes doesnt engage quietly. It might be because im releasing the brakes too soon after I shift.

are u reversing and not completly stopping before u throw it into drive?
-this is no good for ur tranny
or is it that ur car is on a level street where u shift from R into N, depress brake and throw it into D?
-i sometime do this but for the most part let ur tranny shift into drive before u gas it
also it depends on if ur engine is warmed up or not...cold it'll jerk, warm it shouldnt
