They have an 18x8.5 with a 50 offset listed, how are these offsets for a gen 2 GS?

The ad states 45 mm offset which i believe is more for an IS, because of the offsets but hey what do i know.

but check this great link with tons of wheel info on the GS by our fellow cl member - rominl

http://www.lgwnorcal.com/articles/WheelFitment.shtml

i guess if anything PM him - he's real cool guy.

In the ad it says GS series, that's what got me asking...
Thanks for the link, it was very helpful.
I did a search for 45, +45, and offset, but the numbers were not showing up in the results

hey Andy, that seller is Darrel Diller, Sewell Lexus. they should fit fine. just call him direct and tell him you are a CL member. he'll hook you up. those are optional oem wheels from the new IS

Both sizes will fit. It is slightly better than OEM but is still pretty conservative. It will still be pretty sunk in the rear wheel well.

they shouldn't be too far set in.
it looks like they are making these wheels and the spiders staggered now for the new IS in 8 and 8.5 inches and they now offer an 8.5 inch Spider. the offset is +45 for front spiders so maybe the new 8.5s are the same offset.

Hopefully the Spiders are not like these wheels. The ad says 18x8 +45 and 18x8.5 +50. The 8.5 is only VERY SLIGHTLY more aggressive. They are pretty much the same as far as the fender is concerned. You just get a slightly wider wheel setup.

I'd be interested in seeing a set of 18x8.5s on a 2 gen GS with spacers in the rear.
