Change my ride? In speaking with a local mechanic, I told him I found some Eibach's for $230 and he said he'll charge me $300 to install, but he said that everyday driving will become harsher. He said I will feel a lot more bumps. Performance vs Comfort, is how he put it. Thoughts?

jump on this deal. Dont worry, with 18's you will still have plenty of tire left to retain some/most of the ride quality. The difference in handling and cosmetic diff will be well worth it. Matter of fact, after you do thid, you may be asking yourself why you didnt lower the car first. Thats the order I always do it in.

The eibach's are not too extreme and you'll get rid of that "floating boat " feeling. I would price afew more place for the install. It is not real bad but I think it could be cheaper.
