Default Single pillar gauge pod for GS??

Does anyone know where to get a pillar gauge pod that will fit a GS1998 +? Or which car pod s will fit ?
I have not found anyone that makes one for the GS but I have seen a few pics of GS400's that have had them on.
I checked a few local speed shops to see if what they have on the shelf will fit but the only carry 2 or 3 in stock.

Thanks,
I just fond the Dr. G's 3 pod custom ones, he had them covered in leather. nice
I saw on SRT's site there GS400 had what looked like after market dual pillar pods. Have not heard back from them
Dave GS4 has an after market pod but the guy that I believe bought those has not replied back.
If I can get something fitting fairly close I think I can recover it w/ interior fabric.
I'll drop Dr. G a line.

When I went to a few speed shops I did not have my car ( in body shop) so I was was eye balling the pods to what look like it had a shape that would fit. When I get the car I'll I can check exactl fit.
If I find something or make one I'll let you know.

So, what about us 01+ guys that have the side air bags. I assume the pillar mounts are a no-no?" I don't think you want the boost gauge fyling into your face if your airbags deploy

Right hand drive cars always catch my attention, I'm just not used to seeing them. The pod set ups are very nice.

Well from what I remember the pillar airbags drop from the ceiling, and not from the pillar. Ive ran my escort hardwire behind it and I did not see anything that might hinder the operation from it. Just dont install mechanical gauges and should be fine.

Here is the side curtain on the GS. I believe it blows down and the pillar gets pushed out and towards the wind shield. I would feel better keeping the gauges as low as possible instead of high and and at eye level. my $.02

Kind of off topic. But look at that last pic posted of the RHD Aristo. Look at the climate control unit. It seems different from what we have. More buttons!

Good point Gill. Maybe we should try to find a pic of the side bags deployed and see. I might try to get a TRD IS gauge pod and custom mount it on the dash somewhere. I have also seen a GS somewhere where he drilled the holes on the dash underneath the pass airbag as well. Looked really nice.. but not sure if I want to do that.
