Default Knocking sound in back of car

Not sure what it is. From what I have read on this forum....some of you guys have this knocking problem also, but usually on a higher mileage car. I have a 05' with about 6k miles!

Whenever I make a turn....doesnt matter if right/left, there is a knocking sound in the back. I only notice this when turning at slow speeds (ie: parking lot, alley way, and turning into garage). I usually hear about 3-5 knocking sounds about half a second apart during slow turns (5-10mph).

I started to notice this after I spun out my car one night. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=186383 theres a post about my experience....lol

I took a look under the car and everything looks like its ok. The L-tuned mufflers are still on there tight. Is there any area in the suspension I should be looking at? Maybe I busted a shock or some joint?

It has been doing this for about 3 weeks now. I look under there every once in a while and everything looks normal.

Okay, I am only suggesting these two possibilities because I drove myself nuts trying to figure out where these noises were coming from:

(1) Check the spare tire/wheel well. Last winter in my 98 GS4, the lug nut wrench broke loose and was rattling around in the well.

(2) Check the little mud flap/guards (at least I think that's what they are) that sit right in front of the rear wheels. On my current car, the one that sits in front of the right rear wheel came loose, and I only heard it rubbing on the tire when driving slowly. I know you said you checked under the car, but maybe you overlooked this.

I doubt it's either of these reasons, but in case it is, I thought I would chime in.
