anyone know where to buy real alcantara? suede? how much? personally i would love to do alcantara...I like it soo much better than CF...too much CF is overdo for my taste

my plan is i am thinking about rewrapping the oem interior dash and panels...I seen it done in a 3 series/m3 bimmer and it came out looking real nice...I have researched on all the cons to do this...but honestly I rarely drive the car...its my garage queen that only comes out during show time lol

I run into people who say their isn't a diffrenece between real suede and synthetic suede but than they feel my suede and understand that their really is a differenece to the touch and feel of it. I paid about $70 a yard for my suede but synthetic like found in the original IS300 can be found for around $40 a yard. I would contact leatherseats.com and have him explain better. The 2 differences that I know of are feel with the real stuff being much much softer but thiers a catch with the real stuff being harder to maintain and staining easier plus being hard to clean without leaving a mark. The synthetic stuff is a little rougher for a reason it can with stand stains and jean marks better plus is easier to clean without damageing. I didn't do the dash but jtanoyo did part of his dash check his pics. good luck its going to look great.
