Including the cams, the 8 throttle body setup would run around $4,000 NZD which is equal to approx. $2,800 USD. However, I believe a stand-alone electronic control system would also be needed which I assume is why they reference the Link system on their site. Also, I would not use their uni-filters, instead I would have a trick air distribution plenum fabricated out of aluminium to avoid sucking in underhood air. Of course you would also need to add shipping and possibly install charges to the above.

Do a search under "1UZ-FE camshafts" and you should find several companies in Australia and NZ that make cams for our engine.

Well don't feel too bad about it because the Camshaft Shop told me their cams would only add 15-30 hp on my 1994 1UZ-FE. At $1,500 for the cams + labor, I figured the HP/cost ratio was not good.

Have you emailed Kelford Cams to see if they would make a set for you?

no i havent... i'm only a college student.... and if when they make am.. if that means u send ur out then they regrind them... and patch on new lobes.. thats not a safe way of doing it.. not reliable... and it costs more and theres downtime i need mycar everyday its my daily.. i'mnot fortunate to have many cars.. so basically i needa kit thats mass produced so it wont hurt the pocket too much and i can install them myself..
