i don't hate dc. i've lived here for the past 10 years and i actually like it and i agree with you, it's a great place if you're single. but you have to admit that it is terrible when it comes to traffic, crime, bad roads and high cost of living. we were just trying to warn the guy and give him an idea about what to expect if he moved down here. i don't think they know what a pothole looks like in SoCal.
