Is the Junction grille worth it?
Hi,
Since christmas is around the corner, I decided to indulge myself by buying the junction grille for the lex. However, im still hesitating because it 880$. I also have stock chrome 2001 rims, and not even sure if it would even look right on the car. What do you guys think? Is it worth it?

My brief experience with GS's has shown me that if they are weak in any area it's suspension. Perhaps suspension mods might be a better 1st choice, good/excellent used parts would cost about the same amount of money plus install.

I'm going to have to agree with some of the other people on here.
You may be all about the Junction, but I bet your GS wants to be all about the function.
Treat her right this year by giving her suspension, rims or a little more power. I think the grille would look out of place if that is the only mod on a stock car.

I think the whole thing with Junction Produce is exclusivity. For those that can afford their products, its definitely worth the price of exclusivity. For many of us though who feel their products are a little out of our budgets, there are just as many nice and quality products to dress up our cars with. My thing is, if you can afford the Junction grille, go for it. But by all means check out the other great quality stuff you can afford with the same amount of money (and more than likely, you'll actually afford a few more items for the same price as the Junction grille). Good luck with whatever route you go

I remember a thread of someone saying how the es330 grill looks exactly like the JP grill. Did that grill ever fit on the GS? I'm pretty sure there is a way to get it to fit...
thanks

yeah, i think you guys are right,
the jp grille would def look out of place on a stock gs. I think im gonna invest the money in some aftermarket springs and a strut bar or maybe some rims. I will def buy the grille in the future though. Thanks everyone, for the suggestions
by the way, does anyone have suggestions on good aftermarket springs? much thanks,
Mike

those things are nice, but the price is ridiculous. 1350$ just because the signals are cleared??? I only paid 270 for the new lexus tail lights on ebay and it looks great

basically if you ask me whether it's a good mod? yes i think so. at least to me, the jp grille is hands down the best looking grille for the gs i have seen so far, and there isn't even a close second. so to me the purchase was well worth it
however, would it do it way in the beginning before i got all the other stuff like wheels, lowering, kits, etc...? hell no.....
oh and yup, i have to agree that 900 bucks is not simple money too.... it's quite some cash to shell out for a grille
