Rebadging your car to something it's not
Something along the lines of putting gs400 on your 300 or 430 on your 400. How do you guys feel?

I don't think it is right, but from my point, when my wife got re-ended in my car they re-baged my car as a 430 and not a 400. I called up the Lexus body shop (They did Shotty work on my paint.)and they would not change it back to the 400 as I got into an argument with the guy who handed me my keys and said that they matched the color as close as possible and that was not good enough.
My bad....back to the subject...I dont think it is right but to each his own. Plus I do think you can tell a difference in the sound of the exhaust but this is only my .02 cents worth.

R u sayin that having Cobalt SS emblems on the decklid of my GS aint cool.Damn!! 
Really why should it bother you if its not your car,how about putting 20" rims on a car that came stock with 17" rims.

Was at breakfast this past weekend at Doughboys when a supposed E55 pulled up. Hmm, no AMG body kit, no kompressor emblem, regular stock wheels, and a regular exhaust. Just a stock E class with an AMG badge and E55 emblem...just sad
But I wonder if anyone has replaced a 430 badge with a 300...talk about a sleeper car.

i agree with most... debadge, or LEAVE IT ALONE!!!
im sorry, i dont know about the rest of you guys, but this quote bothered me (well, at least to take note of it)... this is COMPLETELY different than the original topic and you're pretty much sayin that 99% of clublexus is wrong for putting rims on their cars?? my car came with stock 16's and i currently sit on 20's... so whats wrong with that?? 
BUT if you are sayin that why should re-badging someone ELSE'S car bother him and that does putting 20's on a car bother him, then i took it out of text...
