I will feel awfully silly when I find the way. I still can't find it.

not sure off the top of my head too since ive only had my GS for 2 weeks but i believe you hit MENU then MARKED POINTS then there should be a REG HOME or DEL HOME button depending if there is already a registered address. That button should be on the bottom left. Im not positive but its somewhere long those lines. If this isnt it i'll take a look later and post it.

Nolbi.....

Didn't find it. When I purchased the car, my wife was the one who took the instructions from the salesman regarding all the settings. He entered the Home address, but I want to edit it. However, can't find a way to do it.

Default owner's manual

If your car came with the original leather owner's manual it probably also came with the Navigation Operation manual which would be tucked in one of the other pockets in that leather case.
That should explain it.

I agree, but I bought the car used and the dealer did not include the separate manual for the Navigation System.

You have an '01 GS300, right? Which means you have the Gen3 DVD nav (like mine).
It should be: menu - marked points - delete home (bottom left corner)

Are you sure it isn't an older one with the hard drive based navi?

Nolbi.....

You are absolutely right !!! I was looking for the word, EDIT. The word REGISTER meant nothing to me. My GX (which I am familiar with) uses a different format.

Thanks again.....

While we're talking about all this navi stuff...
If you want to override the Navi so you can plug in addresses, POI, etc while the car is moving - do this before you start moving when you start the car.

Menu - DVD - tap top left of screen, bottom left, top left, bottom left, bottom right.
This should bring up the navi menu. Hold your finger on the override button for a few secs (till it beeps and changes color). Then push the BACK button.
Try that out. Only problem is that you have to do this every time you start the car.

Aliti.....

Instead of DVD, you need to tap on System Option to change the screen.
