I have no Lexus dealer nearby but my local Toyota dealer said they can do anything on my Lexus work except cover it under warranty (not an issue for me now).

Default You get what you pay for

One of the local toyota dealerships in the Augusta, GA area advertise weekly special and will provide a loaner when performing the 90k serivce. Sounds good okay, but here's what happen to me 1) bent valves due to the mechanic trying to set the timing based on how its done on the supra. I recieved all new valves curosity of this dealership. 2) oil drops in my garage caused by oil plug not tighten. 3) bent pully while put everything back together. 4) too much transmission fliud added during change. For now own I'm going to lexus.

well i feel that the toyota dealer should be able to do some stuff...especially for 300 owners since the 300 is the supra n/a with vvt-i

i got the toyo dealer to do a coolant power flush and it turned out pretty well

I just got my waterpump, timing and serpentine belts replaced at Schaumburg Toyota. They did excellent work. Some toyota delearships have trained lexus mechanics that can do routine maintanence.
My total cost

Water pump $168
Timing belt $28
Serpentine belt $18
Total labor $341
Total cost ~$555

BTW: the prior day, I had changed my front pads myself. The left side was really easy, but the passenger side caliper floater pins wouldnt budge( the two pins that offset as the pads wear). The mechanic had to use an impact wrench to remove that pin and repacked it.
No charge.
Know that's what I call service.

Lexus wanted $399 just for the timing belt replacement. Serpintene extra, water pump extra, waterpump labor extra. Total would have been around $700
