Hi,

I'm thinking about doing more to the system I have installed in my GS400, however I do not know where the gas tank is located. I am thinking about drilling downwards into the small ledge behind the seats. Is this dangerous?

I am afraid I might puncture the gas tank if it is located right beneath the small ledge in the trunk.

what purpose are u drilling down into it?

for mounting purposes i places a 1/2in mdf wood under the carpet and drilled my screws into that

 

indeed, the gas tank is below the rear seats.....
