Is the factory Phone in a 1998 GS400 analog only? If so, I do not have a local carrier within reason. I am wondering, does anyone know if it is possible to insert a PCS or digital phone and use it through the factory speakers and Microphone?

Yes, I it is old-school analog only, I've got the same problem. I looked into getting something that would allow me to patch my digital phone into the mic and speakers (at least, I doubt you'd ever get patched into the steering controls) about a year ago, but couldn't find any info on it being done before.
