I have a 2000 GS300 and went to the dealer today to have my door locks set to automatically lock when putting it into Drive, dealer told me this option is only available on 2001's I looked up the C-best list on our site but there is no indication whether the setting configs are for new vehicles only. Anyone know if there is a pre-2001 C-best list ?

Thanks Bit, from the list it seems that I can't have this set on my car. I had this feature on my 93 Accord SE and it comes in handy if there are kids in the car, that the vehicle will automatically lock above 5mph, and I'm surprised Lexus doesn't allow for this safety option on a $40k car.

Dexter, the C-best list is the options list for the computer settings in your car, such as opening your trunk (one click or hold for 8 sec.), how long to leave your headlights on after shutting off car, etc. They are pre-set at the factory or dealership, although there is a one-time free setup when purchasing the vehicle, thereafter it is a small fee.

I think Marty is right, you can't (the buttons that would do that would either be panic or trunk release - both needed).
I vaguely remember that if you put your key in the door lock and turn it and hold in the lock position, that the opposite happens (windows and sunroof close). Don't often use that as I'd rather roll em up while the engine is running to reduce drain on the battery.
