Well I finally pulled the trigger after a year of owening the GS I decided to go with a wood wheel I really must say I like the way it feels and won't have to worrie about the wear on the leather. How many of you have used AMERICAN STITCHES CO. Also I like that we get a 10% CLUBLEXUS discount Sent it out today 12-30-05 Priority Mail and will keep you'll posted on the return of the wheel

American stitches did my wheel, They rewrapped mine in blk leather and added the brown wood which I turned around had had refinshed in the granite finish I have now. They did an outstanding job on the wood and the leather. The feel is amazing and the back of the wood with all the knuckles makes the wheels so much more firmer and luxurious. Good luck and early congrats..

im pretty sure u send in your wheel to get refurbished.... they re-wrap it with leather and get the wood on it... about the install?... im guessing its you or someone whos qualified to do it?... unless u wanna ship your car to american stitches too lol...doubt its too complicated, id arrange for a shop to reinstall the wheel properly.

tony number 2 lol
