I think you should stick to your plan and keep looking for the blk on blk if thats what you really want. But I do think for some reason Blk on tan is more VIP than blk on blk imo. But Yes I would rather have a BLK on BLK, I owned a blk on bk gs4 and it made me want blk interior for my blue gs which I now have. Stick to the game plan and good luck.

Well after some more calculations, I might be able to afford a GS300. The insurance is $40 less than for GS400...as long as the loan payment is no more than $200 a month I am good to go. I am going to test drive one today, it's an '01 black on black, the dealer is asking 22K for it...I just want to see if the car is at least somewhat fast (faster than my Subaru Legacy), so we'll see how it goes.

I'd have to say keep looking and you'll eventually find the blk/blk combo. When I purchased my mothers RX330 I was looking for a blk/blk but only had a blk/ivory available which I ended up getting due to the fact I didn't want to wait 3 months but now I regret not waiting.

Looks like I will wait because i have no choice. If i want to keep my payments at $200, it will take me 4 years to pay off an 8K loan. By that time i will be all done with school and will definately be bale to afford a brand new GS or maybe even better. Hopefully i will come across one that is clean, in good condition and within my much lower price range. Thanks for all he help and sorry for exciting you for no reason . It's been my dream car for the past 6 months, and now it's gone.
