hey guys need some questions answered...

what was the going price for custom install of clear bra on aftermarket front bumper or lip?

i found only 1 place locally and they want to charge me 800 to do custom front end..i think thats kinda expensive but it comes with front bumper w/ lip, hood, quarter panel, and mirrors

also i had another idea.. tell me if u guys think this could fly.

my painter isnt done with my car... i could ask him not to install the lip..but paint finish painting
- i then get precut clear bra installed on oem GS front end

- i then aquired X amount of clear material to make my own custom lip bra..go back get the lip put on.

now how hard do u guys thinkg it would be for me to wrap my tte lip?

and once i wrap it... do guys think that tip where the lip touches the bumper will rub and tear?

advice advice... im in need of advice.

the thing is im pretty good at wrapping stuff.. i have already clear wrapped my cell phone and two of my laptops..just havent done something as big as a lip

I did not want to pay the professional price for the clear bra so I recently ordered one for my car. I also bought the DVD that instructs you on application. Both of these were purchased on ebay. The same seller sells the material by the foot plain so you can do your own areas. I will update and let you know how it comes out. I think I will be putting it on on Saturday. It should be in by then. I am not sure if you want to wait that long. I think if another person can put it on, if properly trained, I should be able to put it on too. The ebay seller is xtremecity.

The clear bra should cost around 500. I got mine done at herb chambers in mass. I dont suggest you getting it cause its looks horrible in a couple years when it gets discolored. Especially when you wax the car and the wax get between the cracks.
