Default HKS CF hood.

I want to personally thank Steve and Gordon over at Carson Toyota for all their help in getting some of the hard to get parts. I never would have been able to get some of these with out their help.
UPS will drop off the Prussian Blue fenders on Monday but here is a pic of the hood that just arrived. Car should be completed in about 3 weeks.
Thanks again to Carson Toyota

Sorry bud, Gordon told me that there was some people asking about it. At first wasnt sure I wanted to go the CF route but now that I can see it and touch it I am glad I picked it.The hood feels like it weighs about 10 pounds. I cant believe how light it is.
The body shop couldnt believe the quality. They said that they have had other Cf hoods but most of them are weak and flimsy. This hood is great quality with proper reinforcements on the backside for strength. Very pleased!

Thats next. It did come with some hardware but I didnt even look at it. Pins would be O.K. the car wont be sitting outside anywhere for anything to happen. I personally dont think you could use the factory struts because this hood is so light. You wouldnt want to slam it or even push on the front.

Awesome... I was at Carson when the container came in with the hoods. Talk about being a kid at a candy store. After this long wait, I can't wait to get mine painted and installed.

Did I read that - Prussian Blue fenders Dayyyyyyyyyyam!!

Please post pics of those bad boys!! I think you are one of the few who actually have them. That's a whole chunk of change but well worth it for the uniqueness (Double thumbs up )
