Replacing my oversized M6 bulb for my GS, I cracked it pulling it out, leaving some blue shards in the high-beam lens area (the inner lens).

I'd like to just remove the housing and shake it out, but I think that you gotta remove the bumper to remove the whole housing. Bad design, Lexus.

So, does anyone know of a way to vacuum out the housing after pulling out the bulb? I suppose I'd need a pretty small hose to get in there and vacuum.

If not, I'll just pull the highbeam bulb out, and go in with double-sided tape attached to a hanger and try to get the shards out that way. I'm just afraid the double-sided tape will come off and then that will be stuck in the housing too...which would REALLY **** me off.

Any other ideas?

Hmmm, good idea.

I used a hanger and some double-sided tape and went through the high beam hole, and got the shards out. It wasn't too hard, though I did scratch the bottom part of the assembly a bit. I still would have rather vacuumed it out for that reason.

But it's all gone, and bulb replaced.
