Default Ice on my GS

I thought I share this rare event.

I know this is not a big deal for all of you guys that are used to cold weather, but this is a big deal for us down here in hot South Florida. I took the pics this morning at my house.

That happened here about a month ago. It rained, sleeted, and iced over. There was a good 1/4 inch layer on my whole car! Took the defroster about half an hour to get the ice off completely

I guess it was barely cold enough to freeze the water condensation on the car during the night. When I took the pics at 7 a.m. it was 36F!

Yep, and this is in Dallas, TX. We don't exactly get much of snow either. But it was cold as all hell that week. I think like around 10-15F or somewhere around there. Combine that with a bunch of sleet and its a recepie for an icy car

I was over at my friends house for the night due to the icy weather. He is about 20 mins away from my place. In the morning I started the car up and put it in defrost, waited 10 mins then started driving back. When I parked in my garage most of the ice was off the winshield but still some left on there.

Imagine that times 10 for 5 months straight.
Two weeks ago it rained, then froze. It was litteraly over an inch thick of ice all over everything. What you have there we call a "light frost". I'd be walkin around in shorts and sandals!
Welcome to my world!
