I saw a 06 GS (white) at night, with real bright license plate lights, almost look HID style. Can I get some for my GS.

 

Polarg M4's will work. Don't know if M6's will fit or not.

The new lighting looks money. I'm going to do it to my car.

 

I just ordered some for the rear plate and will take before and after pictures when I get them if you like. I also ordered ones for the footwells on the inside of the car - both blue and white to see what looked best.

FYI: Super Bright LEDS was much cheaper.

 

Man, I thought the same thing when I saw a 06 GS a couple of nights ago. The plate lights look great. I have some polarg M4's and will give them a try to see if they look like that.

 

i tried the m4's last night. they are more bluish than white, plus you can't see the plate as well as you would with the stock bulbs. the light output is too dim. the stockers were brighter.

i also thought about using led's, but the led bulbs are 194 size don't point down, they point straight, unlike regular light bulbs that illuminate all around. on the trunk, the side of the bulb is providing light. with led bulbs, the sides are not as bright as if you were looking from the top of the bulb. i also tried this last night, light output is not good, plus they didn't fit either. a bit too long.

after checking out that link for the 194 bulbs, i never realized they had side aiming bulbs.

Just replaced my lic.plate lights as well as all of my interior lights and it looks soooo much better This place is very quick on turnaround and prices are great. I'm using the 194-6w for the plate in case you ask The 194-5w looked good as well.

 

Now is there a easy way to get to the lights for the lincense plate?

 

12 v lt LED'S all the way on the new GS

 

What bulbs do you use for the interior lights? Modle numbers please!
