Default Do you guys ever forget how powerful your GS4 is ?

Yesterday I was out to lunch cruising at about 45mph. When I was coming up to an intersection and the light turned yellow and instead of slowing down and stopping.... I mashed and the Pedal and floored it! WOW it felt so good all that power ...I forget my car has some muscle so after that I put on power mode and started playing with it all the way home from work

just wanted to share

Remeber guys floor it once in a while ..it'll bring a smile to your face

your little sister smoked you in a 2002 maxima? did you have flattire? or perhaps your car was in reverse?

unless you don't know how to drive, there is no reason that the maxima should take you... granted it's a quick car... but a V6 4door sedan should not take a V8 4 door sedan...

and btw... its a V8 lex can't touch NO bimmer V8... but again... that all depends...

nice try... please try again...

The Lex is a nice car but its for the older conservetive type people. My wife loves her car but she says my bimmers has to much power.

the maxima only has a 400 lbs advantage... while the GS has over 60 lbs of torque advantage over the maxima...

she didn't win because the car is faster... you lost because you incorrectly launched the GS.

and not to sound like a jerk or anything... but you have quite a list of cars... and i remmeber reading that you said you owned a M3 for several years... what do you do if you don't mind me asking... bro...

i'll agree with that... Lexus has been a bit conservative... but things are changing... slowly but surely.

BTW, nice buy on the 06 M5. Post some pics in the "Car Chat" forum.

Now you say the GS is for old conservatives. There's plenty of young professional with GSs. Plenty of modded GSs, some having 500+ RWHP...not conservative at all. We made a choice based not only on stock HP numbers, but style, quality, reliabillity, etc, etc.

If I wanted the HP fun factor...I'd get SupraTT, mod it, and put it up against your M5 any day.

I'm not knocking Lexus or nothing Imo but my wifes car is a smooth riding car but handling and performance can't hold a bimmer jock. I'm sorry I read the tread on the new 460 nice car with the 8-speed trans.
