GS versus the IS?
#1
We've got a deposit down on an IS300 SportCross. However, we want the 16" wheels - which may be very tough to get.
What about the GS (I've never dfriven it? I know the handling is not as crisp as the IS, but I believe it's got a bigger backseat.
Can someone enlighten me on the pros and cons of the GS versus the IS?

I currently am driving a 2001 GS 300, and one of my friends drives a 2001 IS 300. I've spent a lot of time in his car, and my opinion is the IS 300 is more sportier than the GS, however the GS is more luxorious. I've never driven the IS, but I do think the GS handles great.

in this case, size does matter
gs300-bigger, more luxury feel to it. sales has been slow, more room for bargain.
is300-more sporty, younger crowd feel(too many high schoolers have them in LA); less expensive if you opt for the sedan, not the sportcross as they just arrived. handles better than the gs stock.
you should drive both to find out.
