I don't think it is or I would never bought my used 2002 Pathfinder with 47,000 miles on it this past fall.

It's not new, but its not old either...

Few of the guys around here will tell you its not broken in until 100k+...

I have 114k on mine...Still running strong. NO problems with the car whatsoever.

Just take good care of it and you should be fine

Are you kidding? 45k is nothing on a Lexus. I sold my first LS400 with 200k and still got $7000 for it and it was still running super smooth & quiet!!!!

I have about 80k on my 02 Lexus and it runs the same as when it was brand new, and im very hard on it the way I drive. Whenever someone else drives my car the first comment I always get about it is such a smooth feeling car.

In terms of Lexus longevity you have low miles and a long way to go. As far as value goes, NADA seems to grant these cars a add on for mileage even though they be beyond the 12K a year average. That should tell you somethng.

No way. I just asked a similar questtion about modding my car...it's at 149K !!! My car is still running strong. So just relax and don't worry. Just keep up on the maintenance. Remember it's a Lexus....you'll be on the road for many, many more miles.

I agree with everyone else. 45k is not alot of miles. As long as you do the maintenance and take care of it you shouldnt have any problems.

I have 55k on my 02 ... its nothing for a toyota engine, my 96 es300 had 190k on it and ran smoother then most cars with half that mileage...

You need to relate lexus cars to a persons age lol any lex with over 150k on the odometer is just getting those gray hairs and made it to the "over the hill mark" .... you just want to take it easy at that age and have all your maintence done on schedule...

Now your car with 45k and my gs with 55k ... well we just about graudated highschool You dont have to sweat anything because that car will keeping ticking for years...

your suppose to average 12000 (low) -15000 (high) per year to retain market value but your fine don't stress it...

as far as longevity... ha its a virgin from my understanding from fellow club members with high mileage...

About average mileage IMO. I put on > 90k on my '99 GS300 before I traded it in last summer. Aside from a few rattles, it ran as good as new.

Quick Reply: is 45k miles alot for my 02 GS?
