Hi, i have Ltuned suspension and Cusco rear STB in the back, my car kinda drives funny.....b/c i dont have a front STB..well...i m thinking to put a TRD lower chasis brace, will that help to get rid of the funny feeling of the front of the car having a bit body roll while the back of the car stays flat????

Why not put the STB on?

As far as the front LCB, you already have one, so putting a beefier one on isn't worth it unless you put an STB on I'd say.

kyle3481, u almost have my kinda set up on my car right now. this is how I installed the stuff.

RMM front Strut bar first
Cusco rear Strut
TRD Lower Chasis Brace

going for the TRD sway bars front and rear and L tune steering ECU as soon as I get some cash in in.

Drivability right now is great I just love to push the car in corners feels good. and I would also like to add I am happy with the car right now and I would be much more satisfied as soon as I get all the handeling package with self installation of course.

I agree with Bitkahuna, should install the TRD STB first before the underbrace. The rear STB is usually one of the last things to put on.

Why wouldn't you put on a Front STB? Makes no sense...

Manaray, I think kyle has the same reason as i do, WE DONT WANNA TAKE OUT OUR NICE ENGINE COVER. I have gone Sway bars, LCB, maybe the rear STB later, but until I can find something that can work with my cover on, I will hold on to that thought. = )

Oh come on! Who the hell ever sees your damn engine cover (and who the hell cares!)? A Front STB will IMPROVE your handling. It will actually DO SOMEMTHING! The Engine cover doesn't do a damn thing...it's not even that impressive looking!

Sorry, this is one thing where function should DEFINITELY override fashion...

haha i know i know, but the Engine cover IMO is a great improvement compared to GS4. taking it out makes it no difference at all, and there IS a lot of times for me to pop up the hood. However, it's been a long struggling, we will see =D. RMM is coming out a new one? aren't they?

If you have a GS400 RMM front Strut will fit over the engine cover.

If you have a GS430 and still want the engine cover fit some spacers over the strut then fit the Strut bar, I do not know if anyone did that yet thou.

As he said, he doesn't know anyone who's done it. His first point referred to the GS400, not the 430.

Default I wasn't clear..

Apologies for my enigmatic post. I meant to say: "are you sure the RMM front strut bar will fit a 1999 GS400 with the engine cover on?"

Thanks.

I've seen one of those on... all the braces fit the 400 with the engine cover on. It's the 300 and 430 that have higher engines/covers.

Default AH!!!

Since ALL STBs fit the GS400 with the engine cover on, what's the best STB for the GS4? Considering price/performance..

Well, my biased view says the TRD one which is easily the sturdiest - especially since Steve now has a terrific price on it (I think it was $170, I'm not sure).

Here's a pic (ahem, I've since cleaned my engine!):
