Audi - I actually found the interior extremely welcoming. if I'm getting a stick I'll look no further.
Acura - bang for the buck, and we all know about honda engine.
BMW - looks! man, the name speaks for itself, so is Lexus, but BMW is a BMW, like Mercedes is a Mercedes, and their quality is getting better too, I had a 328i Convertible and boy did I have problem with that car.
With these choices, I'm not too worried about the $$$, I know I'll get a good portion of it back when I sell it.
Audi & BMW have a waiting list, I've placed deposits already (Lexus & Acura have one too, but only a matter of weeks, so.) I'll be making my decision soon.

People nowadays and years ago even decades ago have been buying names. Why would someone wanna get a Mercedes C230 or a318ti? I bet there's NO LUXURY NO PERFORMANCE but JUST THE LOGO. I find that annoying.
Anyways about the waiting list, it all depends on what color and options you want. My GS300 silver/black with NAV was on a 3 month waiting list but I got one the day I went in because a guy 3 months ago didn't make it in time to get his car for the timeframe it was reserved for him. Same with 530i. If you get like a butt ugly neon green with like nothing then they're probably everywhere on the lot
