Hello to everyone! Picked up my 02 GS430 yesterday. LOVE IT!! However tonight while driving it, I noticed a green indicator light on that I have no idea what it is. Since my car didnt come with an owners manual, I am kind of dumbfounded on what it is.


It is right below the Temp and gas guage I believe right beside the bright light indicator. It appears to be a light bulb.

Any ideas on what this is and if I should worry about it?

Auto lights indicator? Goto Lexus.com and order a new manual for free after registering.

LOL..oh man I got a kick out of this one this morning...Dude its ok, its a new car and sometimes we just let common sense fly and get worried over anything, congrats on the car and welcome to the gs family...

LOL. Don't worry about it. I had the same issue when I first got my car. I figured a blew out a headlight in my first day of ownership. Also, for rhe whole first week of owning my car, I was convinced that my windshield washer pump was broken. I probably pulled that stalk towards me (as I had done on all my other cars) at least a dozen times. Imagine how silly I felt when the Lexus service advisor took a look at it and said "Uhhh, you gotta push the button buddy."

I was thinking to myself, "Dude, come on...it's the headlight indicator," but I had to turn things on and off to figure out what it was when I bought mine...

OK OK OK!! Man you guys are brutal!! I didnt stress to much because I knew someone on here would tell me how **** I am. Even my wife asked me what it was and we both thought that it was an indicator light saying that there was a light out somewhere.

I will have me a manual at all times now so that I dont ask these types of questions from now on.

You know I haven't searched out my GS's manual for this but the wife's RX does have a indicator to let her know when one of the tailights are out!!
