Default how low can u go...

ey guys, i'm planning on changing my bodykit - right now i have the l-sportline (sides/rear/roof sp.) and greddy cf lip, now i'm wanting the wald executive kit. if i will do this i would have to lower my car more to accomodate the looks of the kit. NOW THE Q IS HOW MUCH I CAN LOWER MY CAR W/O CAUSING ANY UNEVEN WEAR ON MY TIRES - i'm rolling on 20s right now. thanx

this is how i want my car to look like

this is actually the exact look i was shooting for on my car as well. i have the WALD exec kit and also have 20's. going low you WILL have uneven wear at the height shown in the pic. not much you can do about that unfortunately.

maybe you should consider the Airrunner system because its adjustable and you can drop it like this when you park ...

how low can you go without uneven wear? you are asking for impossible man. basically once you go past the normal ltuned drop or so, you are prone to uneven wear. if you drop your car like that in the pic, good luck with tires

i was actually thinking the same thing rom... that once you take your car past so called "stock suspension" your gonna get some wear somewhere.

Not sure what you mean by this. Are you trying to maintain a low ground clearance to have the same look as the Greddy lip? The L-Sportline parts are not that much lower. If you go even lower, you will also need to deal with more rubbing on the top of your wheel well.

Personally, I am more concerned about wheel/fender gap and less about ground clearance (as long as it is still lower than stock ).

I dont know where you live but my car wouldnt survive the city street that low. Thats more the question to me than tire wear.

Heck these cars come from the factory with uneven tire wear

i thought about the airbags too but it's just to expensive for me right now

the way i see it - if i will get this kit ofkorz there's the waiting game (again), then the paint, then i will need to buy the bags to get the looks that i want, and now i'm thinking of getting 19s so it'll look nicer when it's dropped!!!

anyway as i've seen/read all these opinions, i think i' m good with what i have right now -just thinking about how much with all of this will cost

...good thing about this site is i learn the DO's n DON'Ts in just about everything!

thanx guys

I lowered mine about .8-1 inch and the tech told me my camber was maxed and he just barely got it in spec.
