Should I put on a Sport Design style rear spoiler or leave it alone? I guess I would get the TTE if I bought a spoiler.

TTE

here's the Spoiler Depot SD copy. Does anyone know if the TTE looks exactly like this SD copy?

I think a sport design spoiler would look good..subtle yet sporty, as well as classy .

I'm in the same boat and not quite sure what I'm going to do. Don't forget about a roof spoiler, pretty sharp by itself too. Currently I'm leaning towards a 3 piece (Erebuni, JP style) with a roof spoiler. I'm voting for a spoiler, but your choice as to what style.

I think that spoiler is too small...I mean you can barely see it! I'd leave it wingless between the two options.

Default Spoiler!

Like others said it's your car and your decision! If your looking for suggestions I would say go with what's going to make you happy! I personally like the SD spoiler due to it being small and adding just a little flare to the rear end! This was my first choice in spoilers until I got a great deal on a Rod Millen 3pc. spoiler! Go with whatever's going to make you happy and look good to you on your car! - That new JP knockoff spoiler(erebuni) does look nice for the cost! Imo! -wringo

You're one of a dying breed, Chuck. I'm going to buck the trend here and say that you should leave it as is. Yeah, it will look a little sportier with the lip spoiler, but your car looks plenty sporty with the 18s and the drop. Also, the way your car is set up now, it looks pretty much stock to the casual observer with a hint that there might be something different about it (let's face it, most ordinary people wouldn't know that you have the 06 430 wheels on an 01 GS). With a lip spoiler, you're moving away from stock and more towards the modded look (not that there's anything wrong with that, but it depends on whether that's the look you're shooting for). Anyway, that's my .02.

I always like the tail to have a little something. The TTE, although small, is nice. The SD is also a good choice. I would avoid the SD knock off, though. I've seen it up close and the fitment is a little off. You can already kind of see it in the pic you posted where the front of the lip is not really flush with the trunk lid.

With your car, I say no. Not unless you get a TTE lip for the front. I am taking my spoiler off.

Get the JP spoiler, it flows perfectly with the lines of the GS. IMO its worth the extra $$$$ bec it will make ur GS look

thanks for the opinions guys.

question on the smaller of the 2 TTE rear spoilers:

if I did get a TTE and decide to take it off, will it damage my paint?

I'm assuming it comes with 2x tape already applied to the spoiler and you stick it on the car. is this correct?

thanks
