Well at 5:00pm today I took the plunge and it's like a refreshing swim in a cool lake on a hot day (actually it was 120 degrees in Cathredral City at Desert Lexus).
I picked up my 2001 GS430 - Mystic Sea Opal, 17" chrome wheels, etc.
My wife and I are loving it and glad to be aboard!!
I'll post pic's shortly
Regards
Phil D

Welcome!
You're gonna love this website and it will soon be your addiction.
Break her in nicely and post some pics for us to see!
Nice color, haven't seen many of those on this board, so you're one of a kind already!

Congratulations,
Enjoy your toy!!
I'm in a similar situation, having picked mine up last Thu. So far I have 330 miles on it and I'm having a very difficult time keeping my speed down. Had no trouble babying the brakes for 200 miles and keeping the revs below 3k, but 55 mph max for 1,000 miles ain't gonna happen. I've convinced myself 65 is liveable and in Atlanta that's still slow enough to be someone's hood emblem on the interstates.
Anyhow, welcome. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine. Here's to lots of troublefree smiling miles.

Welcome - Please post a pic
Welcome Phil and it's an incredible car. GS430 Silver here.
Please post a pic when you have a chance, since I never got to see the color that you got in any pics or on the Lexus lot yet.
Thanks and enjoy! Permanent smile on my face all the time!
