Default How far has your timing belt took you?

I was going through my records and learned my Lexus had the drive belt not the timing belt done at 100K so at 122,100 I had mine done. Could have gone another 30K looked great.

Any GS4 owners have the belt break>?

One more <?> why did I know more about my car at the Toyota dealer then the service managers. ??? I know it wasnt Lexus, but come on thier career is cars..Toys..Scions...Lexus should have it down.

Interesting question. And, not to hijack your thread, but for those people who say that they went well past 90k, was it enjoyable driving the car knowing that the belt could go at any time?

I will tell you, after I learned I was on my orginal t-belt I did hold my breath when I would feel/hear the traction control retard my timing. I dont know if it affects the belt any worse, but I was sure thats when it would love to snap.

interference motor... so what $3,000 for vavles/heads
or
new belt wp for $785

Yes I am enjoying again.
