Default 20" Volk GT-7's on GS????

I was offered a heck of a good deal on some nib 20" Volk gt-7's in diamond black. They are 20x8.5 +29 et and 20x9.5 +22et.i know they will fit with some neg. cambering and stretching. My question is, are these too sporty for the GS???I am just not sure if they flow well with the car and the direction I am looking to go.I am currently seeking wheels, I am just unsure of these.I am a lil' fustrated right now and need wheels. What would you guys do???

I've always like those wheels. I'd get them with correct offsets...it may turn out to be cheaper to do it correctly in the long run.

they are a bit sporty.

but the fact that they are 20's in that style, might make it pretty aggressive.

I don't see anything wrong with those offsets. wasn't jtanoyo ( I hope I didn't slaughter his screen name) running 19x9.5+20 in the rear?

That was funny!

Yes jtanyo1 was running a 8.5 with +24 up front and 9.5 with +24 in the rear.He advised me of what will work and what won't.I am just afraid of when I do tire of them, nobody will want them on cl, due to the offsets.
I was planing on running a 225/35 up front and a 235/35 on the rear with these offsets and a lil' neg. camber. They have over a 4" lip on the rear which will look good.I might have to go look at them, they are local which is another plus.

that's a good point, as I dont think too many people on here are willing to through to great lengths to make those offsets work. I know for me, any mention of having to roll or shave fenders etc. to make wheels work is red flag, but that's only because Im not inclined to go to such lengths. I do however think the wheels would look great on your car, I think they'd flow very nicely. Good luck if you go with them

I believe Jon was running 9 +24 and 10 +24, which is the same offset as the Fabulous demo car. If your wheels were 9s and 10s, offsets will translate to 9 +36 and 10 +29. I might be one of the few here, but I don't see this as a huge problem. I was running almost the same offsets on my previous set of wheels and in my opinion a mild roll is all it's going to take.

19x9 +38(245) and 19x10 +30(275)

I opted to cut instead of rolling, but rolling will give you outcome.

Default hmmm

Trust me Bustn they will look good. My friend actually has it on with a vertex kit. He has a silver GS400 with those in the 20 inch rims. I forgot his offset but it looks sick.

What color is your GS? Anyway i think they will looks great... It really doesn't matter the color of the car though silver and black will really accent those wheels like crazy..Hey if your getting a good deal and they fit then i say get them... IF you don't like them in afew months or so you could just sell them...Don't stress amn everything will work out... There just wheels

I like the wheels but think they are a bit too sporty for the GS. If you are getting that good of a deal on them, you could buy them and then try re-selling them to turn a profit. Just a thought.
