i have never done any work on a car before so i need u guy's help for installing my new borla exhaust on my gs430. now i looked at my stock exhaust and installing the borlas should be pretty straight forward but i have a couple questions.
1) Is there any use for the Rear Brackets and the Rubber Hangers that came with the borlas? by the looks of it, i would say no.
2) I know the exhausts are a bolt on, but the nuts are welded on to the stock exhausts and borlas didnt come with any bolts or nuts. Do i need to get new nuts? and do i need to weld them on to the borlas like they did for the stock exhausts?
3) What are gaskets? Are they the rings that are holding up the stock exhausts? Can i reuse them for the borlas? or should i ask borla for some?
4) If anyone has ever installed borlas on a 2001 GS could u please post a detailed install? i think many members from the Borla group buy would find it extremely useful!
Thanks ahead of time guys!

Don't know, sorry.

No no, the welded nuts are on the pipe that goes to the engine, not the muffler. The bolt still comes out.

No, gaskets go between the ends of the pipes coming from your mufflers and the pipe going to the engine. If you can't reuse them, you should get new ones from the dealer.

Bit,
Are u sure the nuts are welded to the pipe that leads to the engine? i looked at it up close and it seems to me that the nuts are welded to the stock muffler pipe.
